BESPOKE WEDDING TENTS
At Roaming Tent Co we design and manufacture all of our wedding marquees ourselves – right here in the North East. We use breathable, weatherproof cotton canvas made in Scotland, and we handcraft our poles using traditional techniques and timber harvested from local, sustainably managed woodlands.
Our tents are based on traditional designs from around the world to which we add our own twist, creating beautiful, original structures for the most unique weddings in the UK.

Our wedding tents range in capacity from 10 – 250 people seated, and are available in the traditional all-white as well as colourful alternatives. The white canvas floods the tent with natural light, ideal for events that span daytime into evening.

WEDDING BIG TOP TENTS
Based on the classic circus tent design, our Wedding Big Tops feature high peaked roofs which create a lofty, airy venue for your wedding.
Our Wedding Big Tops are our most popular wedding tents. This range of wedding marquees includes two sizes, making them suitable for weddings of between 70-250 people seated. They are also available in two different colourways.
WEDDING BERBER
The original RTC wedding tent, now in its fourth iteration. Based on the traditional tent of the indigenous people of Northern Africa, we have adapted the Berber tent design whilst retaining this rich heritage to create an extremely characterful wedding marquee like no other.
Ideal for weddings of between 100-150 people seated which allows for a bar, stage and/or dance floor to also be accommodated, although the max. seated capacity is up to 200 people.
WEDDING BELLS
A range of elegant, round wedding tents providing the perfect option for smaller marquee weddings. Our Wedding Bell Tents’ compact footprints make them ideal for marquee weddings at home, or at venues with space restrictions.
Available in two sizes and two different colourways, our Wedding Bells are best-suited to weddings of up to 100 people seated.
The Wedding Bells are also brilliant as add-on tents for larger weddings where they can be used as catering or bar tents, for example.
EXTRAS & PACKAGES
Our range of optional extras includes flooring, lighting heaters, dance floors and fire pits – helping transform our marquees into cosy welcoming spaces and fantastic party venues.
