Roaming Tent Co is an independent marquee business based in the North East. We specialise in the fabrication, rental and sale of canvas tents and marquees and have more than 10 years of experience doing what we love.
We take our inspiration from nature, creating structures that sit seamlessly in any environment. Our tents are based on traditional designs from around the world, to which we add our own unique twist.
THE TEAM
A tight core team of three, we oversee the entire tent hire process from tent design, manufacture, customer liaison and on-site set up and dismantle.

OUR PROCESS
All of our tents are designed and made by our fair hands, in our workshop in the North East. We’re self taught seamsters, who have been crafting our skill since 2012.
Our designs are a product of our travels and experience in the festival industry. We work with a local architect to refine our designs before taking them to the workshop.
We cut, steam, stitch and erect all our own tents so we have a handle on the whole process from ideation, creation and to execution.
OUR ETHOS
All of our tents and marquees are made with the highest degree of craftsmanship using only the finest materials, utilising a combination of natural wood and canvas to create a beautiful finish.
We use locally sourced, sustainably managed Ash and other species native to the UK for our poles, which we handcraft using traditional methods. We use blended cotton canvas made in Scotland. We stitch our own tents and guarantee our work to be of the highest quality.
